75 minute Sessions
PDX Therapy Center uses a 70 - 75 minute session model for therapy. We have found this to be much more effective than the traditional 45 - 50 minute therapy model, as it gives us enough time to both explore areas of concern and identify ways to move forward.
OUR RATES
Free 20 minute phone consultation*
Intake 85 - 90 minute appointment: $290
Standard 70 - 75 minute appointment: $240**

Insurance
PDX Therapy Center does not accept any insurance. Unfortunately, insurance companies often dictate length of treatment, the therapeutic approach used, and how frequently you can come to therapy. PDX Therapy Center believes that every client deserves an approach tailored to their specific needs and concerns. Managing the restrictions of insurance limits the service PDX Therapy Center therapists are able to provide.
However, we are happy to provide you with a monthly superbill which you can then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Reimbursement rates will depend on your insurance. We recommend contacting your provider before beginning any services to determine which services may be covered. We are happy to work with you to answer any questions your insurance carrier has regarding therapy.
* We offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to discuss your particular situation and make sure we are the best fit for you.
** Full payment is collected at the beginning of session. Payment can be made in cash, credit, or check made payable to PDX Therapy Center.
Medical Billing Rights and Protections
STANDARD NOTICE
“Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges”
Under the No Surprises Act
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call PDX Therapy Center at 503-455-4227, ext 1.
